Abstract: Brucellosis is an infectious zoonotic disease caused by bacteria from the genus Brucella. It is an infection that affects mainly animals and transfer to humans through their contact with contaminated products of animals. Human brucellosis is a worldwide disease which has an annual occurrence rate of more than 500,000 cases and it is increasing with passage of time. The present study was designed to identify the incidence of Brucellosis in Peshawar District and its active (acute) & passive (chronic) situation in the population. In this study 1250 sera samples collected along with their histories through a proforma from seven different renowned hospitals of Peshawar. As a whole incidence rate of 16/100,000 was observed in Peshawar i.e. 6/100,000 incidence rate for Brucella Abortus and 10/100,000 for Brucella Melitensis. Through slide agglutination test, 455 samples out of 1250 were screened for the presence of Brucella Antibodies. It was observed that out of total positive samples, 157 (35%) cases were positive for Brucella Abortus while 298 (65%) cases were positve for Brucella Melitensis. The status of Acute and Chronic cases was studied through Isotype specific-Enzyme Linked Immunosorbant Assay (ELISA). Through ELISA it was found that 273 (60%) of samples had IgM antibodies while 182 (40%) samples were positive for IgG antibodies that were indication of Acute (Active) and Chronic (passive) cases, respectively. In acute cases (273), 206 (75%) and 67 (25%) samples were positive for Brucella Melitensis and Brucella Abortus, respectively while in chronic cases, 110 (60%) and 72 (40%) samples were found positive for Brucella Melitensis and Brucella Abortus, respectively. In addition, in acute cases, had active infection, were suffered with fever and arthralgia while chronic patients exhibited clinical signs related with skeletal and gastrointestinal organs but other signs such as fever, loss of weight, headache and vomiting were observed in both acute and chronic cases of brucellosis. These signs are obscure and can not be linked with active or chronic infection of brucellosis.

Abstract: The aim of this research was to evaluate the effects of mechanical wear on surface mechanical properties (hardness and elastic moduli) of commonly used restorative materials. For this purpose, the materials were characterized before and after wear mechanical cycles and compared with tooth tissues. Dental restorative materials were evaluated for the effect of wear on surface mechanical properties. All samples were characterized for nanoindentation before and after mechanical wear using Hysitron [TI 725 Ubi] testing instrument. Data was analyzed using the SPSS software (version 20) and t-test was used to calculate the statistical significance. The wear mainly affected the direct restorative materials and increasing their elastic moduli significantly (p=0.05).The elastic moduli of PMMA jumped from 3.93±0.57 GPa to 4.85±0.4, GIC from 9.57±2.00 GPa to 20.87±3.56, resin composites from 11.16±3.08 GPa to 19.41±2.61 and for amalgam from 60.44±5.98GPa to 108.63±7.37 (p=0.05). Similar trend has been observed for nanohardness of these materials. Wear increases the hardness and elastic modulus of direct restorative materials (acrylic resins, glass ionomers, resin composites and silver amalgam). However it did not affect properties of indirect restorative materials including dental porcelain, nickel chrome and cobalt chrome casting alloys.

Abstract: Restorations are commonly used to replace the lost or damaged tooth tissues. The aim of this research was to evaluate the surface mechanical properties (hardness and elastic moduli) of mineralized dental tissues. In addition, hardness and elastic moduli of various restorative dental materials have been reported. Freshly extracted maxillary premolars and seven restorative materials were included in the study. All samples were characterized for nanomechanical properties. A minimum of five nanoindentations were performed using Hysitron [TI 725 Ubi] testing instrument. Data was analyzed using the SPSS software (version 20) and t-test was applied measuring the statistical significance. The tooth enamel hardness range was 2.23 to 7.18 GPa being the hardest at cusp tip (absolute hardness of 6.44±0.74). The bulk of dentin exhibited hardness of 0.71 to 0.92 GPa. Porcelain was the hardest material (9.49±0.52 GPa) followed by Co-Cr and Ni-Cr alloys. Poly methyl methacrylate has the lowest hardness (0.18±0.02 GPa) improved hardness for GIC (0.34±0.05 GPa) resin composites (0.54±0.07 GPa) and amalgam (2.55±0.30 GPa). The dental tissues and materials have a wide range of hardness and elastic modulus. The choice of Biomaterials point of view, a single material cannot be used for all mineralized tissues. Clinically, each case (restoration) should be considered on individual bases to evaluate the material of choice.

Abstract: This paper deals with the effect of changing turning parameters on the cutting forces while machining AISI 1020 steel. Experimental results reveal that the increase in depth of cut (d) influenced the cutting forces more when compared to changing the feed rate (f) and cutting speed (v). Also, within the selected range of variables, an optimum material removal rate (MRR) is also recommended.

Abstract: Monitoring electrical motors performance can be of a highly financial significance, particularly when downtime, production losses and premature equipment replacement or repairs are involved. Trending, benchmarking and being alerted when conditions deteriorate improve the ability to perform predictive maintenance and prevent unscheduled downtime. In industrial maintenance technology, many predictive maintenance methods are available, each best suited to a specific application. Vibration analysis of the motor is used to prevent failure in rotating machinery. However, motor current analysis supports the diagnosis of electrical problems that might be missed by vibration monitoring, which has proven to be a highly valuable predictive maintenance tool. Mechanical faults related to belts, couplers, alignment and more are also easily found through the use of a demodulated current spectrum. Electrical faults include over or under-current, short circuit of windings or electronics components and over-heating. The proposed system consists of hall-effect current sensors connected with the mains supply for each HVAC system in the building. The real-time output of the current sensor is sampled and wirelessly transmitted to the building control room. The received signal of each HVAC system is transformed into frequency domain and analyzed for any mechanical or electrical fault by comparing it with data of similar healthy machines. Upon detecting any recorded fault, a message will be displayed identifying the machine number and the fault type.

Abstract American Foul Brood disease (AFB) is one of the most severe bacterial diseases that affect honey bee larvae Apis mellifera, therefore, causing bee colony decrease. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effectiveness of selective honey types against Paenibacillus larvae larvae..Results showed that different honey types at different concentrations (5,10 and 20%) showed antibacterial activity against P.larvae larvae bacteria with variable degrees reached to 27.75mm.In spite of the antibacterial activity of camphor honey, which has high level of Hydroxymethyl furfural( HMF) and adulterated honey with different level of sucrose did not show any inhibitory effect on P. larvae larvae. Results of physical analysis showed that the specific gravity, viscosity and color in all honey types were ranged between (1.3-1.44), the viscosity ranged from 13.6 to 87.8. the Electrical conductivity (EC) values of samples were > 0.012 mS/cm), the total soluble solids (T.S.S) percentage ranged between 77.0 to 83.2% and moisture contents ranged from (17.0 to 23.0%). The chemical characteristic of honey samples compared with (HMF) and honey adulterated with sucrose indicated that all samples were acidic. Free acidity, lactones and total acidity values were also within the limit (11 mS/cm to 78 mq/kg), (1 mq/kg to 34 mq/kg) and (12 mq/kg to 93.5 mq/kg) respectively. HMF is only present in trace amounts in fresh honey.

Abstract: Relations, interactions, and cultural commonalities of Iran and India date back to more than three thousand years before and Aryans immigration. The evidence of this claim in the ancient era is the mythical commonalities. The relations of Iran and the Indian subcontinent, before Islam, have been based on common race, common language, and common customs. Iran and Indian subcontinent established through Dari Persian language the same relation that had established through Pahlavi, Avestan and Sanskrit languages before Islam. Translation and gaining alien words and translative interpretations are bred by clash of languages with together which stems from clash of cultures, and this clash and bind of cultures and languages with together is a quite natural and inevitable matter; because there is no language and culture that has not been influenced by other languages and cultures yet its intensity varies. As a language is richer and more powerful in terms of scientific, cultural, economic, and social aspects, it lends more words and concepts to other languages; and as a nation is more dependent upon another country in terms scientific, technical, economic, and political matters, it borrows more words and concepts from that country. This paper will study the probable effect of Indian literature on the Persian language from the perspective of translation.

Abstract: The research on geometric probability began as a turning point of the Buffon’s needle problem. In this paper, based on the idea of the geometric probability, we first describe two methods in the Buffon needle problem to determine the probability that the needle intersects the parallel lines in the Buffon needle problem. Next, in the case of a convex curve arc [a curve of a needle] instead of a needle, we consider a problem of determining the expectation value that a convex curve arc intersects the parallel lines, and later we prove Barbier’s theorem applying our results.

Abstract: Agile software development (ASD) has gained a lot of momentum in the field of software development. Agile emphasize greatly on the customer satisfaction and close interaction with the development team. Software development has reformed with the increase in telecommunication facilities. Now the globally dispersed teams works on the software development. With the increase in offshore software development, the close interaction is not possible among the stakeholders of the software. The geographically dispersed stakeholders of the software may result in ambiguous and inconsistent requirements. Due to the cultural barriers and time zone limitations, communication and interaction on daily basis is not possible. The quality of software may suffer due to lack of interaction. Although, agile do not support heavy documentation, it is suggested to complement light-weight documentation to increase the quality and reduce the risk factor in geographically distributed environment. The current research mainly focuses on the necessary documentation to be maintained during the offshore agile development to enhance the quality, communication and to reduce the risk. This approach aims to help the stakeholders in development of the software.

Abstract: Human beings have always pondered up on improving the quality and quantity of health in their life. To achieve this, they had sought to define and solve this issue until in 1946 the World Health Organization (WHO) defined it as: “health is comprised of a state of full physical, mental and social tranquility and not merely the absence of disease or disability”. This definition concerned more about the materialistic life of human until in 1984 a new aspect of health called ‘spiritual health’ was added to the definition provided by WHO. Islam is in fact derived from the meaning of health and from the Islamic point of view the greatest blessing of God to humans is physical health and yet greater is the health of soul while the most threatening disaster is an illness. Therefore, Islam certainly has a serious scheme with this regard. About 13 centuries ago in the 23rd prayer of Sajjadieh Scriptures, Imam Sajjad (AS) comprehensively stated: “God have mercy on Mohammad and beech and give me sufficient and healing health which is inaccessible to illnesses and higher causes; such health that is additive throughout my life; such health that is reproductive of health in my body: health in this world and the other world; send me health, security and health of religion and body, spiritual insight, improvement in work, fear of you, power of obeying you and avoiding sins”. Methodology: in this library research, the data were gathered through visiting credible scientific websites and perusing the related articles. Conclusion: the results obtained from this research show that Islamic instructions manifested in Imam Sajjad’s prayers not only discussed the present day scientific findings concerning healthcare more than 13 centuries ago, but more deeply looking, mentioned the final goal of accessing health as to stay healthy in the earthly life and in the life after death.

Abstract: Medical sciences are of the most growing sciences. Every day new methods, drugs, treatment options, diagnostic options and tools, preventions methods and etc are found. Many times, information used to treat a specific disease is out of date. Sometimes, a medical option that is being used is ruled out. During the past decades, accessing up-to-date information was more or less impossible. Also, much crucial information could not be published due to several limitations. The progress in computers, handheld devices and internet has made it very easy to access valuable information. Using them will result in an immediate improvement of general health and can decrease faults of medical staff. Medical student training centers must take into consideration these options and update their methods. They should find new methods that to help students to interest them in research. An overall review of current methods shows that only a mixture of early research encounter, peer to peer research education (a senior student who mentors a small group of younger students), good research funds, supporting them to participate in congresses in the country or even abroad and also implementing marketing techniques will result in physicians who will change the pace and generalize evidence based medicine implementation.

Abstract: Burn is one of the major causes of mortality in the world, and its prevalence in the developing countries is multiple times the developed countries. In traditional medicinal plants were used to treat injuries and subside pains and accelerate the healing of burn wounds.Tanbark (jaft) and tea- grass as antioxidants have antimicrobial and antiseptic effects, the extracts of which were used in this design to repair second grade burns in male rats. Materials and methods: Some 50 male rats of vistar race with a weight of zoot 50 grams were purchased, and were kept in the nest for one week for adaptation, with open (free) access to water, food, and appropriate ventilation, then the rats were divided randomly in five groups. The first group, burn control which were washed daily with physiology serum. The second, third, fourth, and fifth groups were treated after burn with tanbark (jaft) extract, tea- grass, a mixture of tanbark (jaft) and tea- grass, and silver- sulfadiazine ointment 1% respectively to create second grade burn, the animals were anesthetized with sodium thiopental (40 mg/kg/IP) and were exposed to boiling water in the arranged containers with a hole of 2 square centimeters area for 10 seconds so that the shaved surface of skin was in contact with the boiling water. After 35 days of treatment and after weighing the rats were anesthetized with Sodium thiopental. The specimen of the skin tissue of the injured area were taken and transferred to Formalin 10% solution. After tissue processing, the specimen were moulded, sections of 5 micron were prepared and coloration was done with Hematoxiline eosin. Then, the tissue changes were studied using light microscope, and the obtained data were analyzed using SPSS software and unilateral variance analysis test. Results: The results don't show statistical difference is in the average burn surface, thickness of epiderm and the rate of malonaldyhyde in tanbark extract tea- grass and the combination of these two, in comparison to other groups (P<O.o5). Conclusion: It is probable that tanbark extract and tea- grass with their antioxidant properties are able to fortify each other's effects, with more appropriate dosages and repair the injuries of skin and its appends.

Abstract: The present study was carried out to investigate the effectiveness of chemotherapy by monitoring the Quality of Life index of cancer patients. A sample of 114 patients was investigated at IRNUM Hospital Peshawar and their Quality of Life was examined pre and post treatment. The patients were surveyed at the time of their visit to the Hospital for chemotherapy treatment, and their responses were collected through EQ-5D classifier and Time-Trade-Off scale. The Time-Trade-Off responses were regressed on EQ-5D health profile to estimate their Quality of Life index and hence calculate Quality-Adjusted Life Years gained. Study reveals that cancer badly affects the social and personal life of the fatalities, causes an extreme anxiety/depression among the patients and makes them willing to trade off some years of their life for better health conditions. This situation was slightly improved by chemotherapy, which reduce their pain and anxiety, enabling patients to actively participate in social life activities. Analysis of study reveals a negative correlation between age and Quality of Life index, which is a clear indication that the intervention loses its utility as age of the patient increases. Expected life in the improved health conditions declined exponentially indicating chemotherapy is much effective for a shorter period. The average QALY gained is 0.11 for a cost of Rs 115201 PKR per QALY gained. Hence chemotherapy significantly raises the standard of living for cancer patients, but a huge amount has to be paid by them to live their social and personal life in much better environment.

Abstract: In article music education is considered by the author as multilevel social-pedagogical system. Its structurally functional features, backbone factor, subsystem education are analyzed. Possibility of creation of an adequate control system is investigated. Despite a certain novelty of this subject in science about musical culture it was already repeatedly considered in monographs and booklets of many authors. The appeal to the concept of social and pedagogical system in the field of music education is actual and expedient at least for two reasons: this is accumulation of a large volume in the theory and practice of music education demanding reasonable systematization, on the other hand is a conceptual basis capable to become the system base of the theory of integrated management of training of specialists in the sphere of music education.

Abstract: This paper focused on pyroelectric detectors to build satellite sensors for earth horizon recognition, which is important in simulating satellite control systems. Infrared earth horizon sensors were used to determine the satellite direction. These sensors are usually based on the direction of dissociation in infrared radiation on earth. It was necessary that the earth's infrared horizon was simulated for testing and calibration of horizon recognition sensors in earth conditions. This was based on detecting the earth as a spherical warm object in cold-space, unbounded from its infrared radiation waves. In this research, a hemisphere and a pyroelectric infrared detector, with peripheral equipment and circuits, are constructed to simulate and detect the earth, respectively. Step response and field of view of detector are experimentally obtained and they are plotted by Matlab software. The results verified that pyroelectric detectors can be used to simulate satellite sensors and earth horizon can be recognized. When the field of view reduce, object detection increase in far distances. The field of view decreased from 120° to 70° by means of a 10mm plastic pipe.

Abstract: Genetic association among various morpho-physiological attributes of maize under water stressed conditions was carried out in the research area of Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan during 2009-10. Six generations of maize cultivars were grown under two moisture stress levels i.e., 100% and 50% of the field capacity to checkout their morphological and physiological traits under water stressed conditions. Significant genotypic and phenotypic correlations were reported among grain yield and its contributing traits. It was concluded from results that stomata frequency, stomata size, cell membrane thermostability, leaf temperature, excised leaf water loss, plant height, leaf area, biomass per plant, cob girth, 100-grain weight, grain yield per plant may be helpful for the development of higher grain yield maize genotypes under drought conditions. Grain yield per plant and its attributes may be used for the improvement of crop yield and production under water stress conditions.

Abstract: The feasibility of coexistence between the proposed High Altitude Platform System (HAPS) and the existing Fixed services (FS) in the congested 5.8 GHz band is investigated in this paper. To enhance the spectrum sharing between systems in early stage of spectrum planning, the spectrum emission mask (SEM) and the Protection Ratio (PR) of -17.5 dB as an important sharing criterion in parallel with a novel Minimum Interference Coupling Loss (MICL) as a combination of power spectral density related to the bandwidth of system, Mask discrimination (MD) and additional losses due to the antenna pointing of HAPS are considered in this study. The channel bandwidth of 11 MHz for HAPS and the 1.75, 3.5and 7 MHz ones for FS is considered in the urban area. It is eminent that the physical separation is of the most important factors in the frequency coordination process; hence these separations are determined for co-channel interference scenario. This spectrum sharing study is considered as a giant step toward 4G and beyond 4G services coexistence with HAPS system.

Abstract: In rainfed farming, livestock is the main source of livelihood as the agriculture crops often confront drought situations and thus may not reach to maturity. Brassica having tape root system has the ability to grow under rainfed conditions. To provide green fodder to livestock during winter fodder scarcity period, an experiment was conducted to compare hybrid brassica with composite brassica varieties for higher forage yield under rainfed conditions of Pothwar. Three hybrid brassica varieties i.e. Hyola-401, Omega-1 Omega-3 and one composite variety Chakwal sarsoon were grown at University Research Farm, Chakwal Road Rawalpindi during 2010-11 in a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Significant difference of forage and seed yield components was recorded between brassica hybrids varieties and Chakwal sarsoon. Maximum fresh and dry weight was produced by brassica hybrid variety Hyola-401 followed by Omega 1 and then Omega 3 while lowest fresh and dry weight was produced by Chakwal Sarsoon under rainfed conditions. The results clearly indicate that the hybrid brassica has more adoptability compare with composite varieties under rainfed conditions of Pothowar. On the basis of these results, Hyola-401 which resulted higher yields of brassica forage and seed under rainfed conditions of Pothwar can be recommended to livestock farmers to grow hybrid brassica to overcome the problem of green fodder during winter fodder scarcity months.

Abstract: In the real world we usually face the problem of discrete survival times, typically associated with the presence of ties between events and censored observations. However, the conventional Kaplan-Meier approach, as well as Greenwood´s variance estimator, do not adequately consider this fact, which leads to underestimation of true survival probabilities and variances. In this paper we therefore present a modified Kaplan-Meier approach, by explicitly considering the presence of ties. A variance estimator based on our modified Kaplan-Meier approach is developed. In absence of ties the new variance estimator equals to Greenwood variance estimator, while in censoring free data, it reduces to binomial variance estimator. A simulation study was conducted in order to compare the performance of conventional Kaplan-Meier estimator and modified Kaplan-Meier estimator on different censoring percentages. Our simulation results suggest a significant improvement in terms of bias of modified Kaplan-Meier approach in comparison to conventional Kaplan-Meier estimator. Similarly, the results of variance simulation favour the proposed, modified variance estimator. Our new approaches are illustrated on a leukaemia data set.

Abstract: Software Development sizing method is an internationally function score (Function Point) which has been adopted as a standard. However, many development companies are still utilizing M / M (Man-Month) development cost sizing method. The showing of different results depends on who estimates the job, even if the company which estimates the development scales using function point. Because most of the user's expression creating the requirement is not using incorrect presentation and not presenting any clear range. In this study, the 'scale development' on a very important 'users' requirements and create a clear 'function point' for increasing the accuracy of sizing 'functional requirements definition model is proposed

Abstract: As the network composed of numerous sensor nodes, sensor network conducts the function of sensing the surrounding information by sensor and of the sensed information. The concept of the battlefield is also changing to one that includes not only physical spaces but all areas including the networks of the nation's key industries and military facilities, energy facilities, transportation, and communication networks. In light of the changing warfare in terms of how it is conducted and what form it takes, the Korea military has to seek ways to effectively respond to threats of cyber warfare. In the past, although partial strategies on cyber warfare were studied, no research was done through the overall system flow. In this paper, key variables related to cyber warfare security are classified into personnel, management, and technology. A simple model and an extended model are suggested for each area, and based on the technology area of the extended model, formal methods are used to verify the validity and a detailed response strategy is suggested according to the identified leverage.

Abstract. In the article we view semipredicative attributive constructions, which represent the means of language efforts economy and indices of structural semantic expansion of the sentence in the modern language. The retrospective analysis was performed along with providing the characteristics of such a phenomenon as double predicate. The problem of expanded sentence hasn’t received unanimous support among the researchers, staying the subject of scientific debates and discussions among syntaxists. Kazan (Volga) Federal University, Kremlevskaya, 18, Kazan, 420008, Russia

Abstract. Ability to communicate and well-developed empathy are necessary for professional self-determination, confident behavior in various situational roles and building interpersonal relationships. The bond between empathy among adolescents with deviant behavior and the level of the development of their communication skills has been investigated. The test of V.F.Roschakhovsky and the test of I.M.Yusupov and also the method of determining the level of empathy of A.Megrabian and N.Epsteinin, Y.A.Mendzheritskaya adaptation (“the scale of emotional response") were applied. It appeared that the bond between empathy and the level of the development of communicative abilities among these adolescents is in linear (straight line) dependence. Teenagers with the developed ability to empathy, can reach understanding in communication more quickly, and thus adapt in the society more harmoniously.

Abstract. Technological processes of polishing are characterized by a heat discharge in a processing area, resulting in a deformation of metal and an external friction of abrasive grains on a surface. In a case of using liquid lubricant-cooling technological substances (LCTS), heat discharge results in a destruction of components. This leads to a formation of chemical contaminants in a processing area. Qualitative and quantitative composition of contaminations depends on processing parameters: a rotation speed of a wheel, a speed of a longitudinal feed and a depth polishing.

Abstract. After the acquisition of sovereignty in the post-Soviet republics, a very different socio-economic, demographic and linguistic situation was formed. The uniqueness of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a vast territory inhabited by over a hundred nations and ethnic groups, at the period of the collapse of the Soviet Union the titular nation was the minority – only 40 percent of the general population. It should be noted that almost 85% of the Kazakhstan population spoke Russian fluently, which at that time was the language of interethnic communication of the Soviet Union, while in the neighboring republics of Central Asia the state-forming ethnic groups had historically dominated, and the number of the Russian population was not so significant as in Kazakhstan – 37.4 %. Kazakhstani sociolinguistics in the Soviet times had been actively developing questions of the Russian language functioning in Kazakhstan as a means of international communication. However, by definition of Altynbekova O. B., a major gap has emerged in defining the place and role of the Russian language studies of social-linguistic, psycho-linguistic and ethno-linguistic character. During a period of more than 20 years a new generation grew up in Kazakhstan, who are oriented at other values, different from those of the Soviet period, and which contribute to the formation of a new language situation. Among main ways, methods and techniques of influencing the functioning of society languages, the language policy occupies the most prominent place and is an important factor in shaping and changing the language situation both in specific regions and in the country as a whole. Since the Republic represents a multi-ethnic society, it is important to consider the possible types of language policy in a multinational state. In this article, the language situation on the example of the state's capital Astana is analyzed as a mini reflection of a multicultural society.

School as a subject of image in the Russian literature of the 1930’s

Perm State National Research University, Bukirev Str., 15, Perm, 614990, Russia

Abstract. This article explores new approaches to the implementation of "school" theme, realized in the works of Russian literature of the 1930’s. It is proved that the first decades after the revolution can be considered with regard to the XIX century as a kind of "antithesis": statics is replaced by dynamics, instead of monster teacher we see teacher-father, truly goodie, prison-type school is converted into a home-type school. Analysis of literary writings about school by Makarenko, Belukh and Panteleev, as well as Kassil suggests that debunking of school institution, peculiar to the XIX century, is replaced by poeticizing. The authors underline that the interest of the literature of these years is focused on correctional institutions. On the one hand, such an interest was prompted by the post-revolutionary reality, when the problem of combating homelessness was one of the most pressing; on the other hand, it reflected one of the main ideas of socialist realism about "alteration of human nature".

Abstract. Analysis results of long-standing population dynamics of nongregarious locusts in northern regions of Kazakhstan are presented in the article. Some regularity was revealed. Thus, the expected cyclicity of certain phases of the phytophagous organisms population dynamics is not always maintained. They are subject to change under the influence of environmental factors. They often vary depending on the weather conditions of the previous and the current year, as well as the completeness of the volume of chemical treatments. The data obtained can be offered by us as a criteria of forecasting trends of the the next phase of nongregarious locusts population dynamics in northern Kazakhstan.

Abstract. This article considers issues of processing of holes with reamers. The analysis of present constructions, of their advantages and disadvantages, has been carried out. The conditions of cutting during processing of holes with reamers have been shown. A new construction of a reamer – a reamer-broach from high-speed steel and with hard alloy plates which was patented in the Republic of Kazakhstan, has been proposed. The reamer-broach combines in itself the features of a reamer (in cross-section) and a broach (in longitudinal section). This enables to enhance the quality of processing of holes (dimensional deviation, surface roughness), to simplify the cutting conditions and enhance the resistance. The results of productive tests of pilot models have been presented.

Abstract. Taxes, the main financial resource of public power bodies, are material foundation for realization of social programs and projects both on state and regional level, realization of which depends on timely and full fulfillment of all obligatory payments by taxpayers. Social orientation of taxation is realized most efficiently in those countries where there are mechanisms of stimulation of taxpayers for fulfillment of all duties before the state to which they belong. In the second half of XX century in economically developed countries the system of social support was formed which was intended for protection of citizens from economic risks through use of taxes and other obligatory payments as a tool of re-distribution of incomes for payment of social grants for non-competitive categories of population.

Abstract. The changes taking place in the country determine the necessity to form civil responsibility of both personal and professional attitude of a teacher, responsibility for development and formation of the rule-of-law civil society in the country. Analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature and pedagogical practice of formation of future teachers’ civil responsibility carried out during the research allowed us to identify and generalize such main contradictions in the formation of future teachers’ civil responsibility as: contradictions between the significant role of civil responsibility in the process of formation of a future citizen and the insufficient level of practical readiness of higher educational institutions' graduates on pedagogy for the activity on its formation; contradictions between the necessity to study and to generalize the advanced experience, development of active forms, methods, and tools of civil responsibility formation based on new information technologies and dominance of conservative (reproductive, verbal) methods of learning and parenting at higher professional pedagogical educational institutions.

Abstract. In the presented paper we discussed a reasonableness of a certain mathematical model of nonequilibrium phase transitions of water in porous media without a consideration of moisture migration, which also describes a determination of basic functional spaces. Nowadays, several methods of oil extraction from productive stratum are known. But contemporary experience requires further improvement. Those problems have attracted attention not only oil industry specialists, but also professionals in other industries for a long time. However, mathematical modeling methods of complex filtration processes are developing in two directions, as strict models development, which are the most sensitive in a context of laws and engineering models using simplified schemes of multiphase fluids filtering in porous media. The main goal of management theory and practice is a formalization of patterns of object's functioning. Mathematical model of objects and processes during a creation of management systems possess a special significance, as well as in an examination of patterns' change of existing processes functioning of an object possess a special importance. That fact is related with an increase of a role of modeling for a discovery of those patterns and a study of complex phenomena. In the most cases, in a case of dynamic processes, data associated with their design, is known, as well as basic qualitative relationships of those processes functioning. In such cases, it is necessary to create an object's control mathematical model based on input and output variables in a context of their normal functioning. However, many technological objects are non-linear and an obtainment of adequate models for them is problematic. Recently, the most common method is secondary method of oil extraction from reservoirs. But in time when the last phase in a development of oil and gas comes, surfactants are starting to be implemented in order to destruct filtration channels. The specified method and its corresponding mathematical models are more widely implemented in Kazakhstan. That fact is related with hardly recoverable nature of oil deposts.

Abstract. The article deals with the peculiarities of depiction of "school" in the creative work of the most outstanding author of Russian literature of the end of XIX century - A.P. Chekhov. It is shown that A.P. Chekhov, as distinct from such authors of the XIX century, as N.G. Pomyalovsky, F.M. Dostoevsky, N.G. Gagarin-Mikhailovsky, depicted all, what happened in the educational institution, not from the viewpoint of students, but in the outlook of the character-teacher: the school becomes the sphere, where the personality of many characters is revealed. The analysis of stories "The Teacher", "The Teacher of Literature", "The Man, who Keeps Himself in a Cotton Wool", the play "Three Sisters" helps to reveal negative dominating pathos in Chekhov's depiction of school. Stable component of "school" text, the opposition "school-house" supplements the creation of the image of pre-revolutionary school, as a space of bondage, in the creative work of the classicist. It is underlined, that Chekhov continues the tendency, which clearly outlined in the literature of the XIX century, to depict school negatively.

Abstract. Education provides not only gaining to individuals of cultural and historical experience, but also acquisition of ability to development and designing of new types of activity and relations between people. Change of the social order to an education system demands change of the objectives of educational activity, thus reproduction functions give way to development functions. These functions provide training of the education system workers possessing innovative thinking, abilities to converting activity. In the conditions of higher school reforming before system of high school professional education there are problems of quality improvement of scientific and pedagogical specialists’ training according to priority directions of science and technics. Practice testifies that future teacher’s activity is realized in the polycultural environment of a society. The given fact dictates necessity to train him for work in such environment. The polycultural environment of a higher educational institution demands from the teacher ethnic tolerance, readiness and ability to realize himself in it.

Abstract. The article is devoted to the up-to-date issue of insolvency and possible bankruptcy of an enterprise. Insolvency of the enterprise can be considered from two perspectives: insolvency by formal criteria established by the legislation; insolvency defined as the assumed inability to fulfill its obligations in due time. In the first case, the possibility of active management of the enterprise to influence the situation is severely limited. In the second situation, this enterprise is in a position of pre-bankruptcy, when no one of the creditors has filed a claim in an arbitration court on the matured obligations due for payment. The main goal of the company on the verge of bankruptcy is to ensure financial stability and balanced budget cash flow. The author of the article shows a practical example of how a manufacturing enterprise on the verge of bankruptcy can ensure financial stability and deficit-free cash.

Southern Federal University, Russia

Abstract. This article discusses the methods of evolutional synthesis of hardware that can be used for solving problems of hardware design in case of incomplete information about the object being synthesized. Development of a probabilistic evolutional algorithm is shown, and focus is made on the development of genetic operators, coding methods and assessment of circuits, as well as methods of probabilistic transferring hereditary information. Elements of inaccuracy are introduced into the algorithm by means of probabilistic methods for transferring information. They make it possible to escape from the classical concepts of solutions in evolutional algorithms presented in the form of a diagram with preset structure, to dynamically changing structure and data. This extends the scope of evolutional algorithms for designing complex or open systems by modeling open evolution.

Abstract. The world hoteliers point out that the modern hotel market in many developed countries is undergoing the major changes under the influence of changing tourists’ tastes. Many of tourists are looking for new impressions and they are no longer interested in the standard conditions of a modern hotel. We consider various non-standard hotel facilities used in the world for the tourist accommodation. The concepts of non-standard hotels are obliged by their spread not only with the tourists' desire to new impressions, but may be dictated by the specificity of certain types of tourism and the conditions of specific tourist destination

Abstract. This article discusses the factors and forms of world globalization. At the same time, it emphasizes that globalization is the result of internationalization. It could not have occurred if not preceded by large-scale, long-term and inclusive processes of internationalization, which prepared the material, cognitive and political framework for globalization. It is concluded that the main problem faced by scientists, politicians and government agencies of our country is not only the development and implementation factors that could guarantee the establishment of innovative economy. At the present stage of globalization, national economies and their domestic markets have not lost their value, and governments still retain sufficient capacity to implement a national development strategy. Therefore, there is a special need for measures and instruments of state economic policy capable of forming 'anticipatory' innovative development model even prior to the formation of the latest phase of globalization - supraterritoriality.

Abstract. The article discusses some trends in the artistic thinking of the 19th – 20th centuries, the synthesis of nonfiction and fiction in the genre system, as well as literary and critical discussions about the literature crisis. The analysis is based on the articles of literary critics of the late 19th - early 20th centuries. They did not only assess modern literature but also discussed a wide range of issues: problems of nonfiction and its role in literature, literature boundaries, and ways to overcome the literature crisis. The criticism of this period clearly shows that fiction was pushed to the sidelines, the role of “living texts” increased, and very often they became more important than fiction. Consequently, in the late 19th - early 20th centuries there was a shift in the literature functions. The traditional Russian literature-centrism was weakened.

Abstract. Ant algorithms are a method of probability directed search of global optimum in solving of the optimization problem. One of the application areas is transporting and logistics problem solving. The examples of such problems are a travelling salesman problem, routing tasks, shipment tasks etc. The given work is devoted to the research of the optimal parameter of the ant algorithm. The given method has appeared in the context of “natural scaling”. A main drawback of the ant algorithm is a fitting compilation of optimal parameters. On-the-day researches give“positive” best values estimation of some parameters of the ant algorithm. As a rule the parameters are adjusted on the basis of the many experiments performance. Experimental researches showed some parameter dependence on the number of diagram dimensions. This affords to get out of the under test generation of the optimal algorithm parameters.

Abstract. In the context of rapidly growing demand for higher education, the relevance of the global rankings of the universities increases all over the world. Results of these rankings not only allow evaluation of the higher education quality, but also affect its competitiveness in the educational market. Recognition of the educational institution at the international level is becoming increasingly important for universities around the world. Due to the relevance of the issue, the paper explores the methodology of compiling international ranking, namely “QS World University Ranking”. The authors conducted a quantitative analysis of the distribution of universities, represented in QS ranking, across the various countries. Application of ABC-analysis made it possible to demonstrate that the QS ranking, which originally was created as an instrument of competition of leading universities in the most developed countries in educational space, due to its broad advertising opportunities became attractive for universities of different countries in their efforts toward attracting the students. The priority areas for the university development are identified to raise the international credibility and competitiveness of the Russian higher education. To reach a new level, Russian universities need a breakthrough in every field. Three main vectors are highlighted as priority ones; these are scientific, innovative and international activities of universities. In the next 5-7 years every Russian university will face the challenge to create a new dynamic, globally competitive environment, which will attract both world-renowned scientists and talented students from all over the world. This environment will provide the opportunity to take part in the prestigious educational curriculums, research activities, and custom project developments for the global industry leaders, as well as communication in the international scientific and educational environment.

Abstract. When extracting oil the formation’s thermodynamic conditions, formation fluids’ properties, medium’s porosity, technologies to be used, and a row of other factors may change in wide ranges. This causes an essential influence on the efficiency of the process of displacing oil from reservoir of the pay zone. Thus, the traditionally used advanced recovery methods, including the application of surface heating devices to heat the heat transfer mediums and its further injection into the formation, by no means always bring results to be expected. The effective solution for this problem is development of alternative technical and technological actions in the field of formation’s bottom hole heating through control and activation of thermohydrodynamic processes in the well.

Abstract. The article studies the concept of public interest law from the perspective of development of this institution in Russia. Irrespective to how the concept of the public interest law is defined and what is included in it, it is right to say that certain aspects of the problem have been comprehensively studied by the national science of civil law and applied in the practice of courts. Though the Russian legislation does not use the term "public interest law", it has always been part of it: free assistance in certain cases, actions by prosecutors and bodies of state governance, trade unions, enterprises, establishments, and individuals who protected the rights of other persons, public and contractual representation, and protection of consumers by public organizations.

Abstract. This article is devoted to optimizing the methodical base for improving adequacy of estimates obtained during analysis of information security risks in modern wireless networks. In this work, a method of accounting for risk dynamics indicators is proposed, based on the model of a generalized attack on an IEEE 802.11 wireless network and experimental data about average duration of implementation of various phases of attacks. Necessary adaptation of tools provided within the framework of fuzzy multiple risk analysis of wireless networks has been performed. Based on the proposed approach, forecasts of changes in risk magnitude were obtained, which ensures additional flexibility in choosing measures to protect a wireless network from economic viability point of view.

Abstract. Continual tightening of environmental regulations and the rapid rise in fuel prices is forcing the world's automakers look for ways out of the situation. The switching to alternative energy sources is one of the options to solve the problem in this situation. The most effective way that requires minimal cost and time is a usage of natural gas as a fuel. Natural gas is recognized worldwide as an environmentally friendly and cheap fuel, whose many properties are superior to gasoline and diesel fuel. Application of this type of fuel increases motor life due to mitigation of the friction in the cylinder block; it does not require modification of the vehicle and leaves the possibility to use both petrol and gas as the fuel.

The structure of S.T. Coleridge’s poem “The rime of the ancient mariner”

Natalia Alexandrovna Petrova

Perm State Teachers' Training University, Sybirskaya str., 24, Perm`, 614000, Russia

Abstract. The essay treats S.T. Coleridge’s “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” as one of the works, which traced possible ways of transition from classical structure of the epic and ballad to a romantic lyric-epic poem. The adventurous plot of the poem is traditionally organised by the figure of the protagonist, however, in the focus of depiction there is not a travel, but the spiritual experience, which ensures the integrity of the world. The harmony is recovered by dialectical removal of symbolical oppositions. The subjects of research are the dualism of the plot and its symbolic interpretation that form the new genre modification of the romantic lyric-epic poem.

From literary bioethics to bioethical literature

Abstract. Bioethics as a cultural complex is characterized by the internal heterogeneity. This heterogeneity is intentionally associated not with goals-values, but with the mechanism of their translation. On the one hand, bioethics represents the apologia of the moral attitude to such values as life, death, health and therefore, it aims to develop the axiological apparatus of their understanding and interiorization through philosophy and culture theory, through education, enlightenment and upbringing. On the other hand, practical bioethics is rulemaking in essence, and it involves the creation of the system of expertise, control and sanctions. Only interacting with each other, both of these components of the cultural complex ensure its existence. It would seem that the axiological potential of bioethics should most distinctly manifest itself in culture, particularly in art culture. And its normative potential is realized through interaction with other cultural complexes in their institutional, but not in valuable aspect. Unfortunately, in the age of technological civilization and global market, the significance of bioethical norms increases, whereas the development of axiology becomes more abstract in nature. We consider classical literature as the axiological source of bioethics, so the first phase of bioethics formation can be called a literary one. But modern normative determinant in bioethics actualizes a different aspect: bioethical problems cause the creation of literary works and become their plot. Bioethical literature is coming into existence. To appreciate the significance of this transformation it is necessary, above all, to analyze its first stage, and our article is devoted to this analysis.

Abstract. This article examines the diversity of color, from conveying one’s esthetic preferences and the ability to make an emotional impact upon the human psyche to its role in getting across amplified figurativeness and informativeness and fulfilling the symbolic function. Color, which sends out signals, having become a sort of a link between the human and cosmological worlds, where light and color were perceived as the attributes of the divine, has turned into a significant information function. Abstract. Signing of Kyoto Protocol in December 1997 in addition to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Changes has changed the automotive industry development priorities. Since that time the environmental requirements that are of paramount importance in the modern world, pushed the economic indicators to second place. Over the last twenty years, there has been rapid development of diesel engines both for passenger cars and for trucks. Engines capacity has significant increased; exhaust emissions faced a sharp decreased due to the reduction of NOx and soot for the most part. There was a significant reduction of noise level and fuel consumption; the reliability of engines has improved, as well as maintenance intervals have increased, especially for truck engines.

Abstract: The susceptibility to drug addiction affects the formation of the students personality. One of the reasons of its appearance is the socialization defects within the family, regrettable attitude of parents to children. The purpose of this article is to identify and investigate the particularities of the parental attitude to the students of the secondary vocational and higher education institutions who have different levels of susceptibility to drug addiction. To analyze the parental attitude two criteria are used in the research: the degree of emotional bond, parents’ attachment to the child (love, acceptance, warmth or emotional rejection and coldness) and the degree of control over his behavior (high - with lots of restrictions and prohibitions; low – the minimum prohibitive tones). They represent three main factors: positive interest vs. hostility, directivity vs. autonomy and inconsistency as a sharp transition from one extreme to another. The research shows that the formation of susceptibility to addiction among the students of the secondary vocational schools is influenced by the particular attitudes of both parents, while university students are mostly affected by their mothers’ attitude. It is found that the particularities of the child-parent relationships in forming susceptibility to addiction affect more the students of the secondary vocational schools than the higher education students. The research data allow to improve the psycho-pedagogical programs aimed at reducing drug addiction susceptibility among students.

Abstract: Osteoporosis (OP) represents most common metabolic bone diseases, bone loss associated with ovarian hormone deficiency considered the most common types of OP. There is evidence that diets contain high levels of phytoestrogenic isoflavones such as red clover (Trifolium pratense L.) isoflavones (RCI) are associated with a low incidence of osteoporosis and reduce menopausal symptoms. The objective of this study was to evaluate the osteoprotective effects of RCI on bone loss induced by estrogen deficiency (ovariectomy) in rats. Sham operation or bilateral ovariectomy (OVX) was performed on female adult rats (n=50). One week after the operation, OVX rats were treated with an oral dose of 20, 40 or 60 mg of RCI daily for 12 weeks. Results showed that the ovariectomy induced significantly increase on body weight gain percent (BWG %), feed intake feed efficiency ratio (FER) and fat tissues percent (fat tissues %). Levels of N-terminal propeptide (PINP), osteocalcin and parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels significantly elevation, as well as bone mineral content (BMC) in OVX group compared with sham group. In addition, OVX induced a rise in the number of osteoclasts and noticeable histochemical change in the femur sections compared with sham-operated control. Treatment with RCI significantly ameliorated all tested biological bone marker enzyme and hormone assay parameters compared with the OVX untreated rats, as well as improved histochemical alterations induced by OVX. These findings suggest that RCI is effective in reducing bone loss induced by ovariectomy and maintains bone health, probably by reducing bone turnover via inhibition of bone resorption.

Abstract: Wormhole Attack can significantly impede performance of any Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) by disrupting its normal routing operations. Such attack can be launched even if the network communication provides confidentiality and authenticity. Wormhole Attack usually involves two or more malicious nodes located at different physical locations which collude by disseminating incorrect routing information in order to attract data traffic to traverse through them. As result, malicious nodes have the option to drop the packets or deliver them. In this paper, an efficient algorithm has been presented for defending against wormhole attacks. The proposed mechanism is called Packet Travel Time (PTT), which enables nodes in the network to monitor how their neighbors behave and thus can detect and avoid forwarding their application traffic to go through suspected wormhole link. Simulation results have been presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. For evaluation purposes, AODV protocol has been considered as a routing protocol for MANETs.

Abstract: In this era of postgenomic research, scientists are searching for biological catalogues that can assist in filling gapes in existing biological information. Intermingling of genomics, bioinformatics and computational biology is a promising approach towards advanced functional genomics and is answering many unanswered queries in science. Biological networking of macromolecules specially proteins is opening new horizons for exploring functional relations between gene products and the respective networks of such associations. Present study was planned to investigate the biological networks of three candidate genes/proteins that are involved in determining milk fat content in bovines. CYP11b1, OLR1 and SCD were selected for the purpose of analysis and meaningful results were found depicting their functional interactions in respective pathways. This study can be a first step towards the genetic and genomic screening of these genes at population level in the search of useful markers for selection of superior dairy animals.

Abstract: Purpose: To identify the relation between monocular visual field in glaucoma patients and binocular visual field (VF) (Esterman VF) and its effect on driving performance in different stages of glaucoma and to investigate whether Esterman disability score (EDS) is suitable for the assessment of mobility difficulty. Objective: Whether the visual efficiency scale in drivers’ licensing currently adopted to determine the legal grade of visual disability associated with visual field loss is appropriate or not for the evaluation of disability regarding driving. Patients and Methods: Twenty eight patients recruited from the glaucoma clinic of the Research Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO) with different grades of glaucomatous VF affection were included in the study: mild VF affection: MD >6.00 dB, moderate VF affection: MD 6-12 dB, severe VF affection: <12 dB. Normally sighted control subjects were recruited from the outpatient clinic of the RIO. The glaucoma patients included in the study were follow-up patients of the glaucoma clinic. Detailed ophthalmological examination was performed including corrected and uncorrected visual acuity (VA) measurement using the Landolt VA chart, assessment of the angle of the anterior chamber using the Goldman contact lens for grading, examination of the optic nerve head using the 90 D indirect Volk lens, monocular visual field test using the Automated Humphery VF Analyzer 24-2 strategy and the binocular Esterman VF of the same patient on the same day. The correlation between the EDS and the monocular VF 24-2of each eye and the degree of subjective mobility difficulty was analyzed by statistical formulae. Conclusion: In addition to the currently adopted visual efficiency scale, EDS could be employed for the assessment of mobility difficulty in patients with visual field loss, also to establish new judgment criteria for issuing driver’s license.

Abstract: Incidence and prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes mellitus (T2DM) continues to rise among the Egyptian populations. Despite known roles for obesity, sedentary lifestyles and diet, genetic predisposition accounts for a significant risk. It is possible that cell free mitochondrial DNA (MtDNA) exists in the serum of these patients, and these samples might be a source of material for detection of such mutations. A to G transition mutation in mitochondria transfer RNA Leu gene at position 3243 is commonly associated with diabetes mellitus (DM). Diabetes cosegregated with this mutation in a fashion consistent with maternal transmission. The aim of this study is to detect the presence of mtDNA mutation in the serum of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, and those with family history of diabetes mellitus. A case control study was conducted among four groups of participants. The first group included 10 patients with diabetes having positive family history of DM in first degree relatives. While, the second group comprised of 10 patients that had DM with negative family history. The third group included non-diabetic subjects with history of DM. The last group comprised of non-diabetics with no family history for diabetes served as control group. Each participant was subjected to comprehensive evaluation and serum samples were taken, and tested for the mt3243 mutation after polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis was done. The serum samples then were subjected to APaI digestion to detect any mutation at a certain region along the mtDNA. Results: PCR amplification of the mtDNA leu (UUR) region in mitochondrial DNA in the serum revealed its presence in all samples. After A Pal digestion fragments of amplified DNA fragments, mt3243 was detected in the serum samples of seven patients out of ten With diabetes who had positive family history of diabetes (DM). While, interestingly those with type 2 DM without family history showed positive mutation in six out of the ten patients. In the third group three out of the ten participants, showed to have a positive mutation. While none of the serum samples from healthy subjects revealed such mutations; these finding were of statistical significance (p<0.05). Conclusions: Therefore, mtDNA and associated mutations are present and detectable in the serum of patients with diabetes mellitus. Hence the serum may be an alternative: source for the molecular diagnosis of this mutation associated in diabetes mellitus.

Abstract: Recombination process occurs during meiosis I of cell division results in gene diversity and stability between generations. Biological control relevance:nitrogen fixing, potassium dissolving bacteria and plant growth promoting bacteria have been reported to be much effective and economic than synthetic chemical fertilizers in stimulating plant growth. The promoting effect of biofertilizers has been extensively studied as a way to facilitate in absorbing the required essential minerals or modulating plant hormone levels or for analyzing the inhibitory effects of various pathogens on plant growth and development. However, the stimulatory effect of biofertilizers on genetic variability of cultivated crops as a consequence of meiotic recombination was not extensively studied. The present work aims to study the stimulation effect of biofertilizers on meiotic recombination in diplotene and metaphase I and its extended effect on the first generation. Three study groups are designed with three different biofertilizers (Biogene, Potassiomag and spore suspension of Actinomycetes chiabensis). Each study group includes three concentrations (X, X1, X2) and a control for each group. For every treatment, about 3700 cells were examined and analyzed by statistical methods. Chiasmata frequency were examined per 100 cells in diplotene and metaphase I. The mitosis of first generation were analyzed. Total and types of abnormalities in mitosis were compared by their corresponding percentage in meiotic division. Genetic variation of the seeds of the first generation were studied by ISSR-PCR. The application of biofertilizers resulted in a stimulatory effect in all meiotic and mitotic processes. The application in total protein content essential for growth was dose-dependent. The conclusion is that the use of biofertilizers is safer than chemical fertilizers although some abnormalities were induced by the former.
