Abstract: Introduction: Post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder is a life-threatening complication of solid organ transplantation. In pediatric recipients, PTLD has been reported in 6.4%-19.5% of lung, heart and heart-lung transplants, 4-15% of liver transplants and 1.2-10.1% of kidney transplants. Although most lymphomas typically occur in lymph nodes, extranodal involvement is also common. The aim of our study was to determine the site and symptoms of PTLD in children who underwent liver transplantation during 2009-2012 in Liver Transplantation Center of Nemazee Hospital. Material and methods: This study is a cohort study on existing data of children who received liver transplant between Juanury 2009 and December 2012 at Liver Transplant Center of Nemazee Hospital in Shiraz. During the study period, the PTLD occurrence was assessed in follow up visits, if the diagnosis of PTLD was confirmed the affected patient was entered the study and additional information was obtained. The diagnosis of PTLD was considered in patients with fever of undetermined origin, lymphadenopathy, allograft dysfunction, and pulmonary infiltrates. The data was analyzed using SPSS software ver.18. Statistical descriptive methods, Chi square test, and independent t-test, were used for analyzing the data. P value smaller than 0.05 were considered significant. Results: Totally, 203 children undergoing liver transplant surgery were evaluated. The age range of patients was 8 months to 18 years with mean of 8.8±5.6 years old. In our study 17 (8.4%) patients developed PTLD. The mean interval between transplantation and PTLD diagnosis was 8.4 ±5.61 months ranging from 4 to 24 months. A total of five patients (2.5%) died during the follow-up period and all of them were PTLD affected children (29.4% of PTLD patients). Lymph nodes were the most predominant site involved (64.7%), while liver and GI involved in 35.2%. Conclusion: The results of this study emphasize the relatively high incidence of PTLD after liver transplantation in children. Because of its impact on patient’s outcome and reducing recipient’s survival, it is important to minimize this problem by early diagnosis and providing effective treatment.

Abstract: Today malignancy causes many mortality around all of the word, primary or secondary malignancy imposed economic and emotional costs to patients, families and the community. Several etiology have been reported for malignancy, like genetics, microorganism (bacteria, viruses) and etc. Viruses are known as microorganisms causing various diseases, cancers and malignancies such as cervical cancer and liver cancer. Today, different investigations are conducted on the presence of viruses as an etiology of prostate cancer. In this review article, it will be indicated that viruses including HPV, HSV and XMRV are more recognized as involved in prostate cancer. Other viruses such as BKV, ADV, CMV, SD-MSV, JCV and EBV have also been investigated. Generally speaking, whether or not any of these viral factors are oncogenes for prostate cancer has not been proved. Research findings have been divergent. It seems that conducting studies through specific and similar procedures and consideration of factors differing between the two research groups such as epidemiologic conditions and background diseases is highly required.

Abstract: Population-based studies related to the health of the population and the definition of the life quality on the basis of the questionnaire SF - 36 are held in many countries around the world. However in Kazakhstan such a study was conducted for the first time. The aim of the present work was to study the life quality of the population of 6 regions. The method for the population life quality assessment on the basis of the subjective perception of the individual was used (J. Ware, 1988). The basis of this technique is the questionnaire MOS SF-36 that consists of 36 questions for assessing the quality of life based on the health of eight scales. All in all more than 4,000 people were interviewed. The paper presents the results of the study on the women’s life quality. The implementation of this methodology for studying the quality of life in Kazakhstan opens up new opportunities for integrated assessment of health status, satisfaction with various aspects of life that will develop programs to improve the quality of life at the municipal and regional levels that in its turn will contribute to the qualitative growth of human capital.

Abstract: This project evaluates the implementation of green technology on a current building design and provides applicable alternatives using life cycle cost (LCC) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) techniques. The two main aspects of green technology are considered: energy and water. For energy alternatives: photovoltaic system and solar water heater system, while for water: greywater system. Using LCC analysis, the costs of photovoltaic (PV) cells versus solar water heating system (SWHS) and traditional sewage and greywater system are calculated using annual present value method. The AHP was then used to evaluate the alternatives taking into consideration the relative weights of cost, environmental impact, market availability, reliability, ease of installation and maintenance. From LCC analysis, it is found that: (a) For energy alternatives, it was found that the SWHS more feasible and cost effective to install and (b) For water alternatives, a greywater system is more cost effective to install than to keep the traditional sewage system. Considering the criteria including: environmental aspects, market availability, reliability, ease of installation and maintenance, the AHP analysis reveals that: (i) For energy alternatives, the PV system and the SWHS had a relative weight of 0.637 and 0.430 respectively, and (ii) For water alternatives, the traditional sewage system and the greywater sewage system had a relative weight of 0.300 and 0.799 respectively. In conclusion, this research provides a detailed methodology to engineers in assessing the LCC of green building and guidelines for identifying the applicable alternatives.

Background and Aim: Spontaneous abortion is the most common pregnancy complication with no reasonable causes in most cases. Some research imply the role of anti-thyroid antibodies (e.g. anti TPO-Ab and anti TG-Ab) that can cause spontaneous abortion. In the present study, the association between abortion and presence of anti-thyroid antibodies in mother’s serum was assessed. Methods: In this case control study, 102 women aged 15-45 years, who referred to Hajar hospital of Shahrekord or the clinic affiliated to Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences were selected. Out of 102 women, 51 who had had abortion selected as the cases and 51 pregnant women with gestational age less than 20 weeks were include as the controls. .In order to assess anti-thyroid antibodies level, blood samples were taken from every participant with normal TSH level. Anti-thyroid peroxidase antibody (Anti-TPO-Ab)>50 IU/ml and anti-thyroglobulin antibody (Anti-TG-Abs)>75 IU/ml were defined as Positive. The obtained results were analyzed by means of t-test and χ2, using statistical SPSS software. Results: Out of 51 subjects, 18 had positive Anti-TPO-Ab, of which -10 were among the cases and 8 belonged to the controls. Out of 18 women with positive anti TG-Ab, 11 cases were in the control group and 7 were in the cases. The differences between the control group and the amounts of Anti-TPO-Abs (P=0.468) and anti-TG-Abs (P=0.675) were not significant. Conclusion: The results revealed that there is no association between abortion and presence of ant thyroid antibodies in mother’s serum. Other abortion causes such as various kinds of infections and smoking might be involved which requires more research.

The conceptual basics of establishing a business planning system

Dmitry V. Gorelov

NOU VPO "Moscow Institute of Public Administration and Law", Moscow, Russia

Abstract. This article provides a rationale for the basics of establishing a business planning system. The author proves that the national system of drawing up business plans is substantially behind the experience of developed countries, which is something to take on board. The author brings to light the essence of the term “quality of business planning” and points up such of its components as the quality of the process of drawing up and implementing a business plan and the quality of the business project itself. The article presents the major dimensions to the analysis of the quality of business planning. It examines the key elements of a business planning system in the theoretical, methodological, and technological aspects. The assessment of specific elements makes it possible to come up with an integral characterization of the quality level of an enterprise’s business plan. The author establishes a rationale for the need to assess the quality of an enterprise’s business plan as well as the need for proper selection of methods and criteria for this assessment. Ensuring a comprehensive approach guarantees the high quality of business planning. An important factor in the effective development of a business planning system is information support for it. In advocating an enterprise’s right to streamlining its management system, the author does not find it expedient to precipitously change methodologies applied, indicators used, and tasks in hand. Such tactics can result in substantial financial losses.

A model for regional management of the investment attractiveness of industry

Roman Vladimirovich Kolupaev

Russian State Social University, Wilhelm Pieck st. 4, building 1, Moscow, 129226, Russia

Abstract. This article explores the system of regional management of the investment attractiveness of industry. The author notes that managing the investment attractiveness of a region is, above all, about managing trends: creating the regulatory framework, establishing structural mechanisms, and initiating processes, the existence of which enables one to speak of a certain trend. The region will become attractive to the mass investor only when the real sector of the economy comes to be distinguished by the strategic orientation of activity, an optimum resource distribution structure, and the reliability of the management system. Based on the findings of the study, the author proposes a conceptual model for an integrated approach to ensuring sustainable regional management of the investment attractiveness of industry.

Abstract. This article aims to present the situation of the Russian and Tatar diasporas in Kazakhstan under the influence of the language policy of the state. During Soviet period he Russian language prevailed over the Kazakh language in the Republic. The Kazakh language unlike Russian was elective course in schools, public administrations exclusively used the Russian language in most regions of the country. Since independence in 1991 Kazakhstan builds language policy in order to dominate the Kazakh language in all spheres of social life. According to the Constitution of Kazakhstan only Kazakh is the state language. Since the end of the 1990s, all public sector jobs require knowledge of Kazakh. At the same time, more national minorities don’t understand the state language. The current language policy contributes to the emergence of latent ethnic tensions and increases immigration sentiment among ethnic minorities. Some Russians and Tatar views this police as ethnic discrimination.

Abstract. The present article covers topical issues of administrative approach application to accounting organization, as well as powers of the chief accountant implementation in the system of economic entity resources management. The authors consider theoretical and practical aspects of accounting office personnel labor rating at the level of economic entity’s internal standards with regard of the Russian Federation legislation requirements. Planning, identification and distribution of workload between employees should be determined by labor rating of the accounting office personnel. Standard norms are usually developed for works carried out by the standard technology considering the rational organizational and technical conditions already existing in the majority of economic entities (employers) fulfilling such kinds of work. The indicated norms are recommended as a reference for employers, where organizational and technical conditions of production have not yet reached the level fitting these indicated norms.

Abstract. Imitative words are language phenomenon that traces back to early times. As any other words they had been improving through the process of language development thanks to folk literatures and every day speech. However, the division of imitative as a separate part of Speech still has not found its solution. There are some actual problems that can be solved. They are: two types of imitative words: words, reproducing or representing a natural sound and words, representing a manner or image, their lexical and semantic features, communicative-pragmatic characteristics, their derivations; general study of imitative words in the Turk and Kazakh linguistics; morphological, semantic, syntactic peculiarities; capacities to build new words, a role in a sentence, the ways to combine with other members of the sentence.

Abstract. Traditionally, the most numerous class of alternating current electric machines in power generation and industrial production are asynchronous motors (AM). As the practice of AM operation shows, about half of them operate for a long time with static rotor eccentricity. Such an operation does not usually cause immediate AM breakdown, but it is accompanied by considerable deterioration of its performance. A method is proposed for diagnosing asynchronous motor rotor eccentricity using artificial neural network. Experimental data show that the method proposed can identify presence of AM rotor eccentricity with acceptable level of accuracy.

How much does Maxwell equation cost?

E.V. Pilipenko

Kurgan division of the Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, Kurgan, Russia

Abstract. Value law that served a principal regulator of economic relations for hundred years has stopped performing this function in knowledge-based economy. Actually knowledge-based economy requires revaluating traditional categories and approaches and changing their content. Market price of a product is formed on the basis of its value, or, to be more precise, exchange value; and knowledge does not have exchange value. It is well known, that knowledge is not sold and purchased, but it is produced by each person individually. Knowledge is created only in a human brain in the process of mental production. Without being necessary for a mental production, a personality, an intellect of a person, data will stay data, the storage of useless things. That is education that forms mental production of a person: his or her personality, soul, intellect. Due to this fact, education and training become the key sectors of knowledge-based economy. Market has played the subordinate role in the process of forming mental production – role of “raw materials” supplier for the production of the real treasure of the society – knowledge. The paper deals with price formation principles in knowledge-based economy, specific features of knowledge functioning as an economic asset.

Divergence of direction of semantic transfer on the phraseological level

Svetlana Mitrofanovna Prokopieva

North-Eastern Federal University, Belinski str. 58, Yakutsk, 677000, Russia

Abstract. Relevant criteria of phraseological units are transferred semantics, semantic stability, and separate structural arrangement of the component parts. The criteria for identification of phraseological units are fully or partially transferred meanings of the component parts, separate structural arrangement, stability of lexical components, reproducibility in the fixed form. Unlike the lexical, the phraseological level involves deeper semantic processes due to separate structural arrangement of phraseological units. Semantic relations of polysemantic phraseological units are broken down into radial phraseological polysemy, chain phraseological polysemy, and radial-chain phraseological polysemy. Polysemy is a linguistic universal. It is an inherent component of languages, their constituent characteristics. Words and phraseological units of a language represent a perfect basis for polysemy development, with virtually any language unit having enough potential to develop new meanings. When translating and interlanguage correlation of Russian, German and Yakut polysemantic phraseological units, the analyzed units of indirect nomination correlate with full or partial equivalence of meaning. Correlation of semantics of Russian, German and Yakut polysemantic phraseological units is complicated and represents a sum of interlanguage relations of all its individual meanings.

Dynamics of philosophical perception: from the history of esthetic reception of the sublime in new time

Anatolij Ilich Razzhivin and Aleksej Nikolaevich Pashkurov

Kazan Federal University, Kremlyovskaya str.18, Kazan, 423600, Russia

Abstract. The article studies philosophical perception of the Modern Age category on the example of the sublime in the literary culture. Genesis, typology and evolution of perception of the sublime are primarily due to the fact that originally in this category the idea of essential infinite development is enclosed. Typology of the sublime types is determined by the ratio and relationships of the two main varieties, i.e. Terrible Sublime (the idea of fear, darkness, force oppression and psychological affected oppression) and Perfect Sublime (ideas about harmony and beauty of the world, spiritual and moral perfection). Through the understanding of the Absolute as a universal beginning of the universe, the sublime returns to idea of God. The sublime religious acts as a bottom line.

Institute of Social and Political Research, Russian Academy of Sciences, Leninskij prospect 32a, Moscow, 119991, Russia

Abstract. This article examines the issue of the integration of ethnic migrants, whose numbers have considerably increased over the last twenty years, into Russian society. The authors identify the major issues in the integration of migrants into Russian society. The article’s primary idea is that for migrant integration to be a success in Russia it is necessary to spread the Russian language beyond its pale. The authors problematize the need for taking account of the language factor in social migrant integration in Russia. Based on the results of their own research and comparing them with the findings of a number of foreign studies, the authors come to the conclusion that there is a need for working out a state language program specifically oriented towards migrants.

Abstract. In the experiment the most important events in the development of ethnic and demographic population of the Republic of Tatarstan in the XX century are analyzed. The dynamics of Russian and Tatar population of the total population of the Republic of Tatarstan for 1920-2010 years is given in the article. Historical events that may affect the dynamics causes imbalance demographic processes are analyzed. The technique is primarily designed to clarify the practice of forecasting population in the national- territorial formations Russia. For practical application another technique is created which allows to assess the impact of ethnicity and national migration in the formation and development of the demographic potential of the region. In particular, all major nationalities living in Russia, based on the mode of their demographic development, migration activity and inertial features of demographic processes are divided into five groups. Using this technique we can distinguish four groups that composed 11 nationalities in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Abstract. This article provides a brief overview of several own studies with an emphasis on the difference of the electric charge of red blood cells (RBCs) belonging to different ABO blood groups. It was determined that the RBCs of B and AB blood group have the highest velocity of the electrophoretic mobility. The concentration of lanthanum chloride solution required for providing the induced RBCs aggregation of B and AB blood groups also exceeded the one for O and A blood groups. Based on these facts, we can conclude that the RBCs of B and AB blood groups have the largest electric charge. B blood group is more common at patients with ischemic stroke. Among the possible causes of the influence of RBCs electric charge on the vascular thrombosis risk, there is an electrostatic attraction due to Coulomb forces, which may increase when the blood viscosity and the solution ionic strength grow.

Abstract. The development of small business is a crucial component of the state’s social-economic policy. What is now becoming particularly topical is the process of interaction between business and the government, which is expected to shift to a new level. This article fine-tunes the concept of interaction, which is construed as regulation, partnership, mutual rapport and support, and coordination of the actions of representatives of the government and business. The authors propose a scheme for interaction between small business entities and the government. Through the example of Perm Krai, the article examines the scheme’s components, trends in that interaction, and their impact on the state of small entrepreneurship. The authors point up the need for systemic work aimed at developing a favorable business climate for small business.

Abstract. A mathematical model capable of describing the heat transfer in the metering zone of the extruder is offered. The results obtained by this model were compared to the predictions made by other models, and a good agreement between them was noted. Based on the present model and previously developed models [1,2], we elaborated a generalized model for a classical single-screw extruder. This model allows the description of the polymer movement and the heat transfer in the polymer in the feed, melting delay, melting and metering zones of the extruder. The data on velocity, temperature, pressure and their derivatives are provided for each point of the extruder screw in the cross and down channel directions. The performance of each extruder zone is evaluated numerically under different technological conditions (input parameters).

Abstract. Internationalization has become an integral part of education. The internationalization of education, by its very nature, cannot be considered solely as part of a single culture or single country’s educational system. The development of multiculturalism within education is widely discussed, but often suffers from the limited body of research based on comparative studies. The focus of this paper is to address theoretical approaches and fundamental models to aid in the development of multiculturalism within educational systems.

Abstract. In Russia’s present-day economy, lifecycle contracts are already being actively put into practice in such areas as the purchase of military machinery, the construction of roads and railway lines. The current agenda includes expansion of areas of application of this approach. Studies conducted have shown that the procedure for entering into contracts based on the use of indicators for the cost of owning real estate in its reproductive cycles in various areas of Russia’s economy is at a nascent stage of its development. In this regard, what is really topical is both the analysis of the foreign, European, experience plus the classification of various methods for the analysis of costs in contract systems across the stages of the construction lifecycle and the review of the characteristics of the present-day development of these methodologies in Russia’s economy. The development of cost appraisals of owning property in real estate lifecycle contracts helps to more effectively regulate the priorities of effecting energy-efficient, eco-friendly, and economic construction in residential programs.

Abstract. The risk of obstetric and perinatal pathology development has been increased considerably in women after Caesarean section (CS). This is caused by the fact that abdominal delivery itself is accompanied by additional risk of perinatal complications for the fetus and newborn. Besides often we can see different extragenital pathologies or obstetric complications being indications for surgery. Such factors as surgical stress, anesthetic technique, and in particular, the use of analgesics, relaxants, antipsychotics influence the birth outcomes in infants born by Caesarean section because all medical treatments are able to pass through placenta and affect the fetus to a greater or lesser extent. In all these conditions both pregnant women with extragenital diseases, preeclampsia and women during the labor develop an oxygen insufficiency of maternal organism and fetoplacental insufficiency (FPI) and, as a consequence, reduced oxygen delivery to the fetus, hypoxia and fetal malnutrition. Cerebral ischemia, known as hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy is one of the severe complications of pregnancy and childbirth, which is caused by neonatal anoxia of the brain. The most dangerous outcome of this disease in infants is cerebral palsy (CP) and epilepsy. Therefore, all therapeutic measures should be aimed at the early ensuring of fetus by an adequate amount of oxygen in order to minimize hypoxic violations of the brain [1, 2, 3, 4]. This is the method of hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) that meets the above-noted requirements, which is pathogenic remedy for cerebral hypoxia and various forms of general hypoxia.

Abstract. Unfortunately, nowadays it is technically much easier to remove organs form an alive (dead) donor and to carry out transplantation to a recipient than to find legally approved basis for these actions, especially when it comes to removal of organs and (or) tissues from a corpse. The article represents an attempt to suggest improvements that could be applied to legislation concerning organ transplantation. The author suggests that, it is required that a complex approach should be applied to improve the situation with transplantation legally, socially and economically.

Abstract. The article describes numerical calculation and analysis of the use of the correlation method for predicting durability of a mechanical system – the bearing structure of a metallurgic crane bridge. Studied input parameters of the system are maximum stresses in the cross-section of the bridge bearing construction, and output parameters are residual strain and deflections caused by operation of the bridge crane. A well known mathematical tool of correlation function is used with derived formula of probabilistic relationship between the input and output parameters. The article will help to make appropriate management decisions for ensuring technological safety of metallurgical bridge cranes, and it is an essential complement to the theory of mechanical systems design probabilistic risk analysis.

Abstract. Scientific work devoted to previously unexplored in the world scientific objec drama genre stilevye and language skills, psychological characteristics lyrical nature and dramatic effect in the lyrical compositions of Kazakh philosopher, poet Shakarima. The dramatic effect is an esthetic category that one can find in all the genres of literature. It exists along with notions of esthetic psychology, history, arrogance, decay. If we suppose that a belles letter always shows human life, soul of a human being, all the abovementioned esthetic categories emerged on the basis of daily activity in life of people. In literature researches the dramatic effect is considered on the basis of arrogance, height, a pure human soul, nobleness. It considers – on the result of activity during clashes full of fighting events. Along with this, the dramatic effect is a connecting part on the basis of social and cultural contradictions.

Abstract. In the article, they suggest a new algorithm which is an alternative to the sweep method for numerical solution of second-order linear differential equations with mixed boundary conditions. This algorithm has a wider field of application than the well-known sweep method, and it works both with positive and negative coefficients. Besides, the authors show the consistency and computational stability of difference schemes represented by suggested recurrence formulas. The results of this article are confirmed by computation data.

Ufa State Aviation Technical University, Karl Marx Street, 12, Ufa, 450000, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia

Abstract. Among the particular features of high-speed micro turbine generators we can name output voltage instability when you change the value or load power factor; and difficulty of voltage regulation due to the absence of field winding. Authors of the article demonstrate a technical solution of several actual problems when using the high-speed synchronous generators in the system of an independent power supply. One of the proposed solutions is an original system of regulation and stabilization of the output voltage which helps to minimize flux leakage of the magnetic bias, and thereby minimize the energy consumption and increase the accuracy and speed of output voltage regulation. Owing to the new design ensuring regulation and stabilization of the output voltage we managed to minimize mass and dimension parameters of high-speed synchronous alternating-current generators with permanent magnet excitation. Several studies and a mathematic modeling confirm the efficiency of the new system of stabilization and regulation of the voltage ofthe high-speed micro turbine generators. Among the disadvantages of the proposed method we can name temperature increase in the stator magnetic circuit. Temperature increase is caused by the saturation of the magnetic circuit due to the stator back biasing. Experience has shown that the temperature influence on the main characteristics of permanent magnets NdFeB and on the induction in particular. With the increase in temperature, a decrease in the induction and capacity of non-contact magneto-electric generator was observed. To eliminate these disadvantages, the authors propose a patented design of stator winding with a direct cooling system.

Abstract. The study presents the results of qualitative and quantitative content of connective tissue biopolymers in children suffering from the chronic gastritis. The main group consists of 56 children with confirmed diagnosis of chronic gastritis enrolled in the study using the principle of randominization and inclusion criteria. There was a considerable decrease in the content of glycosaminoglycans in the examined children, considerable morphological changes to the mucosa in the form of inflammation, atrophy, erosions, lymphoid and plasmacytic infiltration, severe to moderate contamination by Helicobacter pylory, intestinal metaplasia. There was a considerable proportion of children with endoscopic signs of parasitosis. Changing in the state of the mucosa, composition of the mucosal mucus as connective tissue derivatives is one of additional mechanisms of chronic gastritis. Connective tissue failure in the form of modified composition of mucus as well as epithelial cells failure in pediatric patients are the main reason of facilitation of Helicobacter pylory penetration through these barriers. These factors also cause the formation of pathological process in children and determine its clinical manifestations. The successful treatment of this disease also depends on these factors.

Abstract. The article proves that about one third of migrants in the world move from north (developed countries) to north; another third move from south (developing countries) to north, and the remaining third migrate from south to south. The character of migration has changed: if it had a local character in XX century and didn’t affect the large segments of the population of different countries, in the beginning of the new millennium it’s covering more and more working-age people every year.

Abstract. In the article the results of research for the combination of the personal qualities of a professor, making him an attractive image for students, were elucidated. The concept of “image” in Russia is defined in the narrow and broad sense. The image in the narrow sense is highly visual, external side of a professor’s activity. The image in the broad sense involves a complex interrelation of external manifestations and personal qualities and professional skills of a professor, which form its integral image. Thus image can be viewed as a part of professional skill of a professor. In the world’s educational practice, as a rule, the concept of “image of a professor” is not distinguished. However, the studies of personal qualities of an effective professor, highlighting the qualities affecting the skill of a professor are conducted quite often. Abstract. At present, Russia faces a demographic crisis that threatens with an extinction of Russian ethnos. According to scientists, the reason inter alia, is in the deformation of the values system, expressed in the people's desire for individual achievement in the extra-familial field, egocentrism, reluctance to make a family and have children. The article presents the results of a study of value orientations of the people in Tyumen, summarizing these results, the author comes to a conclusion, that the process of value formation of the personality, with a shift towards the creation culture, the strengthening of family values and the institution of marriage, as well as having many children needs a systemic influence from the government.

Abstract: To identify character accentuation students who are prone to addiction will allow to adjust their socialization process during the training period in order to increase its effectiveness, as well as it will contribute to the creation of effective psycho- educational programs aimed at reducing the level of their addiction to drugs. Objective: to identify the influence of experimental character accentuation susceptibility to drug addiction among students. Methods: The study is based on concept of accented personalities by K. Leonhard and typology of accented personalities by A.E. Lichko. Psychological testing was as an empirical research method. Data processing was performed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) v.17. Results: It was found out that the students of higher education compared to students of secondary vocational education had susceptibility to drug addiction associated with less accentuation of character. This can be explained by the fact that those who are going to the universities to study are more socially adapted, they have a higher level of self-control and self-discipline, able by virtue of age and education to control outbursts of emotions and behavior. The findings of the study data will allow to adjust psycho-educational programs aimed at reducing the propensity to addiction among students based on character accentuation detected among students of higher and vocational education.

Representation of Women as the ‘Second Sex’ in The Great Gatsby

Abstract: This article is an interpretation of The Great Gatsby novel through a Feminist perspective. F. Scott Fitzgerald sets his famous novel The Great Gatsby in 1922 in America. The society which is described by the author is a patriarchal society which positions men as superiors to women. The author privileges men in his novel and constructs the female characters as what the feminist critic Simone De Beauvoir terms the “second sex”. In Fitzgerald’s novel the world is a masculine world. The author, the narrator, and the title of the novel are males, and in agreement with what Simone De Beauvoir argues about men’s superiority toward women, in the novel men are the citizens and the natives of the world but women are the “others”; this means that the world is drawn in such a way that being a man does not cause any peculiarity, but women are strangers, so women’s subjective selves always are under the critical gaze of a male. This essay will argue that in The Great Gatsby, whatever situations the main three female characters – Daisy, Myrtle, and Jordan – have in the society and also during their own lives, they are represented as inferiors to men. Women’s situations like being as a single girl, a wife, a mistress, and a beloved, which are defined in relation to men, will be discussed in this essay.

Abstract: A myriad of diseases in military bases have made individuals visit medical clinics. Among them are orthopedic diseases such as stress fractures, infectious disease such as mycoplasma pneumonia and neisseria meningitis and dermatologic diseases including scabies, lice and athlete’s foot. Not only can these diseases spread easily among individuals in military bases, but they can also cause problems for their families. Raising the awareness of soldiers, army officers and others who work in these environments with such prevalent diseases can, to a great extent, prevent the epidemic among soldiers, their family and other members of the society. Also, vaccination against transmittable infectious disease like pneumonia and meningitidis can dramatically reduce the prevalence of this fatal disease in military forces and military bases.

Abstract: The present study was carried out to estimate interrelationship and genetic diversity in M3 generation of Vigna radiata in response to gamma radiation. The experimental materials comprised the four irradiated lines of mungbean AUM-18, AUM-19, AUM-31 and M-2004 that were irradiated at 250 Gy, 350 Gy and 450 Gy doses of gamma rays. The experiment was laid out in split plot design, with two replications. Each replication was divided into main plot and subplot. Dose levels were assigned to main plots and varieties in subplots. High heritability estimates were observed for all traits. Phenotypic correlation of seed yield per plant with germination percentage and seeds per pod was positive and highly significant however positive and significant phenotypic correlation of clusters per plant and 100-seed weight while pods per plant was negative and significant. Higher heritability and significance correlation indicated that germination percentage, 100-seed weight and seeds per pod may be used to select higher yielding mungbean genotypes.

Abstract: Determining dengue virus four serotypes E protein nanomeric epitopes that bind strongly with HLA alleles were identified through computer generated databases and prediction tools to identify individuals/populations who are likely to respond to vaccines. FASTA sequences of E proteins retrieved from NCBI proteins database were fed into MEGA6 software for conserved sequence identification. Binding of conserved sequence as well as nanomeric peptides from entire E protein length with HLA I and II alleles were determined using NetMHC 3.4 and NetMHCII pan 3.0 servers respectively. Conserved sequence among four serotypes did not bind HLA alleles. Individual E protein analysis identified total 97 nanomeric epitopes from four serotypes that qualified as strong binders. HLA specific E protein epitope prediction can help identify synthetic peptide vaccine candidates and predict responses as well.

Abstract: Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scheme is an important tool to achieve a high data rate communication and higher signal to noise ratio (SNR). In order to facilitate the communication system design, understanding and modeling the channel is crucial. Different approaches are available for modeling the MIMO channel based on the required utilization that range between physical and analytical approaches. In the case of analytical modeling, correlative-based modeling approach is common. Several papers illustrating this technique are available. In the case of ultra-wideband (UWB)-MIMO channel correlative modeling, few papers are available. This paper presents a brief elaboration on the correlative-based modeling, reviewing the most common available models and explains the practical way of implementing such modeling method. In addition, the case of modeling MIMO-UWB channel is presented where proposed methods are explained.

Abstract: Self-poisoning with organophosphorus (OPs) pesticide is a serious clinical problem across Asian countries. The aim of the present study was to assess the value of the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), serum acetylcholinesterase (SChE) and leukocyte on the length of stay and mortality due to OP poisoning as a prognostic value. We studied acutely OP-poisoned patients who had been admitted to the toxicological intensive care unit (TICU) of Loghman Hakim Hospital, from October 2010 to September 2011. Data including sex, age, cause of contact, ICU length of stay, muscarinic / nicotinic symptoms, initial Leukocyte, SChE and GCS levels were collected for under-study patients. Based on the patients' survival, they were divided into 2 groups, survivors and non-survivors (n=6). Thirty five eligible patients with a mean± SD age of 32.5±17 (range 2-72 years) were enrolled. Of these, 23(65.7%) were male. Suicide attempt was recorded in 31(88.6%) patients. Most of the patients had GCS above 10. The SChE ≥ 50% normal (≥1600 mU/ml) was reported in 45.7%. The mortality was 17.1% (n=6). The mean±SD and the median length of ICU stay in survivors were 7± 4 and 8. There was no statistically difference between the survivors and non-survivors according to the mean SChE, leukocyte and GCS. Only one dead patient had GCS lower than 10. (P>.05) Our results indicate that the GCS, SChE and leukocyte levels are not effective predictive factors for the outcome; however, they are useful in early diagnosis of OP poisoning.

Abstract: This paper presents the financial behavior adjustment of small entrepreneurs by using mental model as a tool. The application of the model starts from employing the left-hand column in preparing questionnaires and then the balance inquiry and advocacy in analysis. It results in a tool in form of cloud computing finance, which is suitable for small enterprises to assist the decision analysis. The results from the research show that it is possible to adjust the behavior because the mental model will be adjusted from the content of used data. The small enterprises where the entrepreneurs are the second generation will be used as a case study. The ladder of inference is introduced as the measuring approach to measure the mental model of entrepreneurs and to compare the presently used financial data and the cloud computing finance. The cloud computing finance is obtained from the analysis of mental model for decision analysis. It is found that the cloud computing finance can adjust the unfavorable behavior for financial data to become the favorable one.

Abstract The foremost objective of this paper is to investigate the dilemma between the female labour force participation rate and total fertility rate for the Asian-6 countries from the period 1995 to 2013 using panel cointegration and long-run structural estimation. The cointegration results confirm that the female labour force participation rate and total fertility rate are cointegrated for the panel of Asian-6 countries. Whereas, long-run Granger causality authenticate the causality run from the total fertility rate to the female labour force participation rate. Moreover, the results show that 1percent increase in the total fertility rate cause in a 0.44 percent decrease in the female labour force participation rate for the Asian-6 countries. The TFR highest negative effect observed in Indonesia and smallest observed in Thailand. The results of fully modify ordinary least square confirm the long run panel relationship between female labour force and total fertility rate.

Abstract: Early fruit development is an important trait defining fresh tomato marketability in kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), which is related to more profit for farmers. Eight commercial cultivars of tomato (Solanumlycopersicum L.) grown in Saudi Arabiaanddiffering in fruit developmentdates were characterized on the molecular genetic basis by inter simple sequence repeats (ISSR) and amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) markers. The results indicated a wide range of molecular variation, in which some markers distinguished among different genotypes. In general, both sets of data allowed for the identification of cultivars by means of pairwise differences, cluster analysis and principal component analysis. AFLP and combined data generated resolved trees with bootstrap support. AFLP and ISSR approaches enabled discrimination among the eight tomato cultivars, which represents a valuable data for improvement of this economic crop in the future.

Evaluation of Bearing Capacity of Compacted-Cemented Sand Replacement Overlying Weaker Soil using Plate Bearing Tests

Abstract: The existing soil on a given site may not suitable for supporting the desired building because safe bearing capacity of soil may not be adequate to support the given load. To improve this soil type to allow building, it is necessary to create a compacted or cemented replacement top sand layer above this weak, compressible residual soil stratum to increase its bearing capacity, reduces displacement at failure and changed soil behavior to brittle behavior. This paper discuses the load-settlement response from three plate load tests carried out using a 300 mm circular steel plate on a thick homogeneous residual soil stratum as well as on layer system formed by two different top layers (1000mm thick) compacted sand and (600 mm thick) sand-cement overlying the residual soil stratum. Plate bearing test has been used to measure the compressibility of the top replacement soil layer as a criterion for accepting (or not accepting) this layer. The objective of this study is to find out a relevant method for evaluating the suitability of soil replacement using plate bearing tests. The plate load test on residual stratum strengthen by top cement sand layer was performed to a relatively high pressure, and gave a noticeable stiffer response than that carried out on the untreated soil stratum, since the failure occurs through the formation of a thick shear band around the border of the plate, which allowed the stresses to spread through a larger area over the residual soil stratum. This means that cement-sand soil replacement is capable of absorbing more strain energy prior to failure. After maximum load, the bearing capacity dropped towards approximately the same value found for the plate load test carried out directly on the residual soil. A punching failure mechanism was observed in the field for the load test bearing on the compacted sand top layer, with tension cracks being formed from the bottom to the top of the layer when mixed with cement.

Abstract: The steel jacket technique is used to strengthen or repair RC columns all over the world, as it has been shown to be effective, economical and easy to apply. Most studies carried out to date on this strengthening technique have focused on isolated sections of columns strengthened or repaired by angles or batten plates. In this study a new technique for strengthening or repairing reinforced concrete columns was introduced; this was achieved by using corrugated steel jacket. The behavior of the strengthened or repaired square columns was investigated experimentally on twenty seven real concrete column models. Response of the columns before and after being strengthened or repaired with steel jackets was examined. Four variables were considered in this experimental study; the surface treatment of the original column, the grade of the filled concrete, the steel jacket type, and the thickness of the corrugated steel jacket. Test results suggest that square steel jackets can considerably improve the performance of columns with adequate strength. The steel jackets can significantly enhance the response of concrete columns with adequate ductility, when corrugated steel jacket was used. Also corrugated steel jacket give a better result compared to flat steel jacket.
